Hamas celebrated 25 years of “resistance” on Tuesday with a cake that showed the entire stretch of land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean as a single country, along with images of the Dome of the Rock and a rocket heading from the Gaza Strip toward central Israel.

The Qassam Brigades terror organization uploaded a picture of the cake to its Twitter account, and tweeted that the rocket on the cake was a locally made M-75 missile, the same type launched at Tel Aviv and Jerusalem during Operation Pillar of Defense last month.

A Hamas official claimed Tuesday that European countries have expressed willingness to remove the organization from their list of terror groups if it agreed to indirect negotiations with Israel, Army Radio reported.

Izat a-Rishak, a member of Hamas’s leadership in Gaza, said the group would consider such a move to ease the suffering of residents of the Strip, but would not talk about the core issues of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
