A high school student in Herzliya was arrested on Wednesday morning for allegedly stabbing a fellow student in the neck with a pair of scissors.

The victim and the suspect are both 10th-grade students at Yovel high school. The victim was brought to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba in moderate condition.

Shortly thereafter a 10th grade student in the Galilean town of Tuba Zangaria stabbed his classmate in the neck with a pen during a fight. The victim was taken to Ziv Hospital in Safed in good condition. Police arrested the suspected stabber and several other teens.

Police opened investigations into both incidents.
