Members of US President Donald Trump’s campaign team made undisclosed contact with Russian government officials at least 18 times during the 2016 presidential race, Reuters reports.

Former and current US officials “familiar with the exchanges” told the news agency that six of the exchanges were between Michael Flynn and Sergey Kislyak, Russia’s ambassador to the US.

The previously undisclosed phone calls and emails are now being reviewed by the FBI and the Senate and House intelligence committees probing Russia’s possible interference in the 2016 US elections.
