Sailors sentenced to 15 days in Greek prostitute case
Naval commander reprimanded for encouraging sailors' behavior
Four sailors who admitted to visiting a prostitute in Greece during shore leave from recent joint exercises were sentenced on Monday to 15 days in military prison by a military tribunal.
The sailors’ commander, a lieutenant-colonel, was reprimanded on Sunday for the encouragement the men received from their colleagues and direct commanders.
“The IDF rejects this behavior,” the IDF Spokesman’s office said in a statement.
