3 dead in spate of road accidents
Police ask for public's help in search for Ramat Gan hit-and-run suspect
A spate of accidents overnight Thursday and early Friday left three young men dead and three others injured.
Two young men in their twenties died in a head-on collision of two vehicles at the entrance to the town of Taibe. Another man, 30, was moderately wounded in the crash.
A teenager was killed in Bnei Brak after riding his skateboard into a parked car.
A jeep overturned on Road 90 near the Masada Junction in the south. Two people, both in the 20s, were injured in the accident, one lightly and one moderately. They were evacuated by helicopter to Beersheba’s Soroka Hospital.
A 17-year-old girl was seriously injured after she was struck by a motorcyclist on Ben Gurion Road in Ramat Gan Thursday night. The woman was evacuated to Tel Hashomer Hospital.
Police have asked the public for help in its search for the suspected perpetrator of the hit-and-run.
And a policeman was seriously injured when his jeep overturned on a road in the upper Galilee. He was evacuated to Poriya Hospital in Safed.
