3 hurt, one seriously, in Shuafat refugee camp shooting

Three people were injured, one of them seriously, in a shooting in the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem on Tuesday night.
Two of the wounded were described as moderately hurt by the gunfire.
The three were taken to a hospital by Magen David Adom medics.
There was no immediate information on the circumstances of the shooting.
Arab Israelis have long accused the state turning a blind-eye to hundreds of thousands of illegal firearms that have proliferated in Arab neighborhoods, driving up a high crime and homicide rate as compared to Jewish Israeli areas.
In the West Bank and East Jerusalem, the army has shuttered dozens of illegal gunsmithing workshops and confiscated hundreds of illegal and makeshift weapons in overnight raids over the past several years.
