Seyfried hurts Fallon with Krav Maga
'I could kill you, like, in a year,' warns actress who draws 'ouch' from host after only 4 classes in the Israeli self-defense method
Amanda Seyfried’s Krav Maga technique may be off a little, but that didn’t prevent her from apparently hurting late-night television host Jimmy Fallon’s wrist on Wednesday’s broadcast of Late Night. But the actress, who has been studying the Israeli self-defense method, can’t be blamed. Fallon should have known what was at risk when Seyfried asked him to choke her.
“Ow, ow, ow! You almost broke my wrist!” yelled Fallon, after Seyfried broke his two-handed hold around her neck. “That hurt me there, yeah,” he said, as he watched the slow-motion replay of the staged attack.
The actress, who was on the show to promote her title role in the new “Lovelace” film, a biopic about “Deep Throat” porn star Linda Lovelace, was contrite. But that didn’t stop her from explaining to Fallon that what she had been aiming to do was to break his hand, elbow him in the face, get a good control hold, and then knee him and “shin you in the balls.”
Lucky for Fallon, Seyfried has had only four Krav Maga lessons so far. However, she’s clearly taking her “Israeli fight training” seriously. “I could kill you, like, in a year,” she warned the host.
