Authorities discovered four improvised explosive devices on a Palestinian man at the Bekaot checkpoint, southeast of Nablus, on Tuesday.

Sappers detonated the IEDs in controlled explosions and the suspect was handed over to security forces for questioning.

The West Bank was under a 48-hour closure during the Passover holiday. The movement of Palestinians in the area was severely limited until midnight Tuesday in light of security concerns.
