A small bag of marijuana was discovered Wednesday at the Knesset, in a bathroom stall used only by lawmakers and their aides. An image of the discovery released by the Knesset showed a relatively small amount of marijuana in a plastic bag.

A parliamentary assistant found the bag of grass in the wing where the MKs’ offices are located and immediately alerted the Knesset Guard, Channel 2 television reported.

The baggie was handed over to the Knesset Officer who was able to confirm that it was a small amount of marijuana.

According to the report, the bag was found in a cubicle on the lower level of the Knesset, close to a storage cupboard.
