Border police officer, three civilians injured by rock-throwing Palestinians

Attacks take place in three separate incidents across the West Bank

A Border Police officer was lightly injured Friday when his unit clashed with Palestinian protesters, near Nebi Salah, on the north west outskirts of Ramallah.

Roughly 80 demonstrators threw rocks at the troops, who responded by using crowd dispersal equipment. The soldier was transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva for treatment.

Earlier Friday, three Israeli civilians were lightly wounded in two separate rock throwing incidents.

A woman was taken to hospital after her car was pelted with rocks while she was driving on Highway 443, near Beit Horon.

Two men suffered mild injuries, near the Havat Gilad outpost in the northern West Bank.

Security forces launched searches for the rock throwers.
