A group of students at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center were joined by “Eretz Nehederet” comic Yuval Semo during a pre-election day conversation with Zionist Union candidates Isaac Herzog and Tzipi Livni.

Semo, who introduced himself during the Q&A period as an economics student and taxi driver, often plays Asher Ben Horin, a recurring taxi driver character on the weekly comedy show.

Semo’s opinionated, mother-in-law hating loudmouth character is used on the show to catch the shocking reactions of real-life passengers for comic effect.

Herzog and Livni were laughing onstage as Semo asked whether the two had signed any kind of financial contract.

“When I watch the show, I tell my wife that you took the words right out of my mouth,” said Herzog to Semo.

Livni agreed. “You don’t know how right you are most of the time,” she said.
