Behind the Headlines: Malcolm Green, Justin Cohen on “Finding Abraham” [LIVE/ON-DEMAND]

Dear Times of Israel Community member,

Tune in now (or on-demand) to a special Behind the Headlines interview, exclusively for the ToI Community, as Deputy Editor Amanda Borschel-Dan speaks with the creative minds behind the new short film, “Finding Abraham.” (If you haven’t watched it yet, you can find it at

“Finding Abraham” was produced by our Times of Israel partner Jewish News, Britain’s biggest online Jewish newspaper. It’s a half-hour immersive experience that follows a group of young emissaries from the United Arab Emirates touring Israel following the September 2020 signing of the Abraham Accords. We speak with news editor Justin Cohen and filmmaker Malcolm Green. Together, Green and Cohen explain the impetus and vision behind the kaleidoscope-like presentation of Israel after the Abraham Accords.

Green is a filmmaker and advertising guru based in London, who has also created “Edek,” a short film that is a hip hop retelling of a real-life Holocaust story.

Long-time journalist Cohen is the editor and co-publisher of Jewish News. Among other well-known figures, he’s interviewed the last five prime ministers, three Archbishops of Canterbury and two Chief Rabbis.

The interview can be viewed on YouTube right now by following this link. You can also watch the interview on demand, at your convenience.
