Introducing Streetwise Hebrew for The Times of Israel Community!

Dear Times of Israel Community member,

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new Streetwise Hebrew course, exclusive to the ToI Community!

In Streetwise Hebrew for the ToI Community, each month we’ll learn several colloquial Hebrew phrases around a common theme. These are bite-size audio Hebrew classes that we think you’ll really enjoy. At the end of the month, we’ll have a private session with Guy Sharett, host of Streetwise Hebrew.

This is not your traditional Hebrew course or Ulpan — it’s a fun, unique way to better understand the Israeli psyche, society and culture, by learning the language, the context and the cultural significance of modern Hebrew phrases. All classes are available on-demand, so you can go through them at your convenience.

Ready? Get started with Streetwise Hebrew!

Here’s how it works: Make sure to listen to the four audio classes on the Streetwise Hebrew page by the end of the month, when we’ll have a live discussion with Guy on Thursday, October 28 at 12:00 pm Eastern (7:00 pm Israel) time. We will send an email with the Zoom link as the date gets closer.

If you have questions to ask Guy or want to discuss something with other members of the Community, there are two ways you can do so: post your question(s) on the ToI Community Facebook page, or send it to us through this Google form.

Have a question about Streetwise Hebrew? Just email us and we’ll be happy to answer.

Thank you for being a part of our Community!
