Israel Unlocked: Yom HaShoah, Memory & Memorial [TUESDAY]

Dear Times of Israel Community member,

Please join us this Tuesday, April 6 for the next installment of the Israel Unlocked virtual tour series, exclusive to the ToI Community. This week, as we head into the season of remembrance beginning with Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), we will journey to sites in Israel that highlight our past and give voice to those who helped build our future.

The land of Israel is dotted with the milestones of our memories, commemorating those who came before us and telling their stories. Our expert guide Amy Ben-Dov will take us to inspiring sites, including the Knesset Menorah, Scrolls of Fire Memorial, Latrun, Davidka Memorial, Yad Vashem, Ammunition Hill, and Mount Herzl.

About our guide: Amy Ben-Dov immigrated to Israel from the U.S. and has a background in informal education with more than 25 years of experience as a tour guide and educator. She guides tours throughout Israel and has taught high school and college students and adults in more formal settings. Together with her husband, Amy created a travel consultancy in Israel that specializes in creating unique, authentic, and off-the-beaten-path experiences. They and their two children (and rambunctious dog) are based in Modiin, Israel.
