Dear Times of Israel Community member,
To mark The Times of Israel’s ten year anniversary, we are hosting a special series of live, in-person events this year under the banner ToI@10.
We’re excited to invite you to our kickoff event at Jerusalem’s First Station on May 24 – Who By Fire: Leonard Cohen and the Yom Kippur War. The evening will feature author Matti Friedman in conversation with ToI’s David Horovitz, discussing Friedman’s fascinating new book on the singer-priest’s extraordinary tour for IDF troops in 1973. The conversation will be accompanied by a live band playing classic Leonard Cohen tunes.
