Dear Times of Israel Community member,
The Jewish New Year is underway, and by now you’ve probably tasted every kind of challah there is — three-braid, round turban, rosette pull-apart, cinnamon raisin, bagel spice, drizzled with honey — so now it’s time to learn how to make the quintessential Jewish bread yourself! Join us today, Thursday, September 30, for a challah baking master class with Chef Harry Rubenstein — exclusive for The Times of Israel Community.
Whether you’re a challah amateur hoping to bake your first or an experienced baker looking to up your game, you’ll learn it all as Harry talks dough, shaping and baking — and demonstrates some cool braiding techniques.
Harry Rubenstein is a pastry chef, culinary guide, storyteller, outdoor market obsessive and a self-proclaimed expert on Jewish baked goods — sweet and savory. You can find him at @harrysbaked on Instagram.
