THURSDAY: The Challah Recipe You Knead to Learn with Chef Harry

Dear Times of Israel Community member,

The Jewish New Year is underway, and by now you’ve probably tasted every kind of challah there is — three-braid, round turban, rosette pull-apart, cinnamon raisin, bagel spice, drizzled with honey — so now it’s time to learn how to make the quintessential Jewish bread yourself! Join us this Thursday, September 30, for a challah baking master class with Chef Harry Rubenstein — exclusive for The Times of Israel Community.

Whether you’re a challah amateur hoping to bake your first or an experienced baker looking to up your game, you’ll learn it all as Harry talks dough, shaping and baking — and demonstrates some cool braiding techniques.

Harry Rubenstein is a pastry chef, culinary guide, storyteller, outdoor market obsessive and a self-proclaimed expert on Jewish baked goods — sweet and savory. You can find him at @harrysbaked on Instagram.
