Beyonce not planning Israel concert
Industry sources say diva will not perform in Tel Aviv in October, putting speculation to rest
After months of unremitting speculation, Israeli media on Friday confirmed that pop star Beyonce will not be coming to Israel in October.
For months, the Israeli press has been buzzing that the reining queen of pop was set to announce an October 26 concert in Israel — and possibly a second performance too — in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park.
But industry sources told Army Radio and the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper on Friday that Beyonce has no plans to add shows to her global tour and will not visit the region.
Back in February, there were additional rumors about two Beyonce shows this summer, as part of her “Formation” tour, but the concerts were never booked.
According to the Music News and Facts website, Beyonce is the third-highest grossing solo touring act in history with a total gross of $663 million.
