Eight Arab minors charged in murder of Ramle man
Petah Tikva court hands down one count of murder, five counts of manslaughter
Eight Arab teenagers from Ramle were charged Thursday in last month’s murder of 51-year-old George Sa’ado.
The Petah Tikva District Court charged one of the minors with murder, five with manslaughter, and two with obstruction of justice and illegal possession of a firearm.
According to the indictments filed by the Central District Attorney’s office, Sa’ado was walking his dog when three of the accused minors accosted him and cursed him. Sa’ado ignored them and kept walking.
Later, he was again confronted by the group, which by then was five teens stronger. They allegedly shot and killed Sa’ado and his dog before fleeing the scene.
Sa’ado died of a gunshot wound at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Tzrifin, an area in the central part of the country, a few hours later.
