El Al workers passed over on bonuses
National carrier is the country's least generous gifter

Employers in Israel dished out around NIS 2.7 billion in Passover bonuses for their workers this year, up 10% from 2011, with a national average of NIS 600-900 per gift.
The most gracious spender was Dead Sea Works, whose employees received checks for NIS 1,750, a new iPad, and a package of wines.
El Al Airlines, which posted a net loss of $7.8 million dollars in the final quarter of 2012, continued its across-the-board cutbacks and scrimped on bonuses for its employees. They received a national low of NIS 250 for Passover.
Seventy-five percent of working Israelis expect a holiday present from their employers.
