'Hungry For Love' offers new twist on reality romance with mealtime rules

Move over dating apps, Israel’s HOT entertainment channel is producing “Hungry For Love,” a new reality dating show for the international market.

The show follows a group of participants as they search for love, but there’s one simple rule: Every meal they eat must be a date, and they can never dine alone.

Stampede Ventures and Tadmor Entertainment co-own the series, being produced for Israel’s HOT Entertainment channel, with no air date just yet.

The unscripted Israeli series is a new venture for Stampede, which has show creator Zipi Rozenblum on board, in her role as Tadmor’s head of Unscripted Content.

Rozenblum’s “Marry Me Now,” developed for Armoza Formats, was recently run by Oprah Winfrey’s OWN television network.

The straight-to-series order features Yarden Edri (“Big Brother Israel”) and Gur Arad (Israeli Ninja Warrior).
