Ori Banki, the father of a teenage girl who was murdered by an anti-LGBT extremist at the 2015 Jerusalem Pride Parade, condemned the Shlom Asiraich organization, which donates money to incarcerated Jewish terrorists and extremists, including to the killer of Banki’s daughter.

“The State of Israel has many enemies — why help them? Why encourage murderers and enemies from within?” Banki told Channel 13 news.

He said the organization’s activity “only reinforces the need for continuing the activity of Shira Banki’s Way” — a group established in his daughter’s name that promotes moderation and tolerance in Israel.

“Those who support terrorists can’t ignore their responsibility for the violent atmosphere tainting Israel’s streets,” he added.

Shlom Asiraich, which translates from Hebrew as “the wellbeing of your prisoners,” was established by Chanamel Dorfman, an adviser for Otzma Yehudit chairman Itamar Ben Gvir who has been described as the extremist lawmaker’s righthand man.

Dorfman filed the application for Shlom Asiraich to be recognized as a non-governmental organization in Israel two years ago and is listed on the form as the group’s legal adviser.

Last week, Channel 13 revealed that the organization has donated money to prime minister Yitzhak Rabin’s jailed assassin, Yigal Amir, among others.

In a recent flier, Shlom Asiraich boasted of having raised over $43,000 last year for convicts such as Yosef Chaim Ben David, who beat and burned to death 16-year-old Palestinian Muhammad Abu Khdeir in 2014; Amiram Ben Uliel, who firebombed a home in the Palestinian village of Duma, leading to the death of parents Riham and Sa’ad Dawabshe along with their one-year-old boy Ali in 2015; and Jack Tytell, who murdered a Palestinian taxi driver in East Jerusalem and a Palestinian shepherd in the West Bank in 1997.

Sixteen-year-old Shira Banki was stabbed to death by Yishai Schlissel during the 2015 pride parade just three weeks after he was released from prison, where he had served an eight-year sentence for a stabbing attack at the same march 10 years earlier.
