Gasoline truck overturns, blocks Route 6
Toll road shut down in south; driver rescued by emergency services
The main traffic artery of Route 6 was blocked in both directions just north of Kiryat Gat on Thursday morning after a truck carrying gasoline overturned at the main highway’s intersection.
Emergency services rescued the driver from the vehicle with moderate injuries.
The toll road is considered among Israel’s most important north-south thruways.
