Gazan caught infiltrating Israel with knife

A man was caught attempted to infiltrate Israel from the Gazan border on Sunday morning, near Kibbutz Kissufim, which lies due east of the central Gaza strip.
The man was spotted by an IDF lookout and was then apprehended by an army patrol and taken in for questioning. He was found in possession of a knife, Channel 10 reported.
There have long been individuals sporadically attempting to enter the country from Gaza. The 50-day Israel-Hamas war of this summer saw the discovery of a vast network of tunnels from Gaza into Israel, intended to be used for large-scale terror attacks.
