Gun control comic takes on Tel Aviv
Australian comedian Jim Jefferies to perform in June
Irreverent Australian comic Jim Jefferies, known for his love of beer, drugs and sex, is coming to Israel.
He’s currently on tour with his one-man show, “Freedumb,” and will perform on June 6 in Tel Aviv’s Shlomo Group Arena (Drive In Arena).
The comedian, famed for his provocative humor that lacks sympathy for most subjects including himself, first became known in Australia before heading to England and then the US, where he now lives.
No topic is sacred for Jefferies, who has tackled gun control, religion, airplane etiquette, therapy and marriage in some of his more memorable stand-up routines.
In the US, he’s had several one-man TV specials, including an HBO special “I Swear to God,” and a Comedy Central show, “Alcoholocaust.”
The NIS 250 to NIS 350 tickets go on sale at the Zappa website on Sunday, February 14, or by calling *9080.
