Hamas cofounder and Hezbollah leader meet in Lebanon

Mahmoud al-Zahar, co-founder of Hamas and acting foreign minister of Gaza’s Hamas-controlled government, held talks last week in Lebanon with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, according to a Wednesday report in Beirut newspaper Al-Akbar.

Zahar, who was in Lebanon on his way to talks in Iran, reportedly met with Nasrallah for a six-hour discussion on regional developments and Hamas-Hezbollah relations. Al-Zahar was also given a tour of Hezbollah installations and facilities.
