Israel nabs Palestinians with pipe bombs

In separate incident, knife-wielding Palestinian caught along fence of Elon Moreh settlement

Border policemen arrested two Palestinian men carrying backpacks filled with pipe bombs and knives near the Tapuach Junction in the West Bank on Thursday.

Border Police sappers safely detonated the bombs.

The two men were taken for interrogation.

Also on Thursday, a security guard at the Elon Moreh settlement in the West Bank alerted soldiers to the presence of a Palestinian man approaching the settlement’s security fence.

Soldiers from the Kfir Brigade arrested the man, who was armed with a knife 14 centimeters (6 inches) long. He was taken for interrogation.
