Palestinian opens fire from moving vehicle on 25-year-old standing at junction; IDF forces searching for gunman
A 25-year-old Israeli man is in serious condition after being shot in the West Bank by a Palestinian gunman, in a suspected terrorist attack
The IDF said the man was standing near Rehelim Junction, south west of Tapuah Junction, when he was fired upon from a moving vehicle.
IDF forces were searching the area for the perpetrator.
The wounded man was taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva for treatment.

On Sunday, Hamas Interior Minister Fathi Hammad called on Palestinians in the West Bank to attack Israeli targets to show support for the “resistance” in Gaza.
Israel is in the midst of a military campaign aimed at destroying Hamas’s tunnel infrastructure in the Palestinian enclave and ending rocket fire on Israeli cities.
Operation Protective Edge, which began on July 8, has claimed the lives of 25 IDF soldiers and two Israeli civilians, and some 500 Palestinians, according to Gazan medical sources.
