Israel’s Keshet, BuzzFeed take game show global
What's wrong with this picture? Gut reactions, sharp eyes, quick fingers needed in 'Touch'
BuzzFeed Motion Pictures, a branch of the news and media organization, has teamed up with Keshet Studios, the Los Angeles arm of Israel’s Keshet International television studio, to develop a game show based on “Touch,” Keshet’s popular Israeli game show.
In “Touch,” contestants are asked to point out incongruities in photos they see on a screen, while a clock counts down. The BuzzFeed Motion Pictures group and Keshet show will air on television while playing simultaneously online and on mobile devices.
The game is one of gut reaction, sharp eyes and quick fingers, as contestants concentrate on an image or video, identify what’s “wrong,” and touch the screen where the error appears, while time is counting down.
Called a “next generation game show” by Keshet producers, the content will be syndicated through BuzzFeed’s various distribution channels.
