Two Arab residents of East Jerusalem were hospitalized on Friday after being beaten by a Jewish mob in the capital, they said.
The two, both 20 years old, said they were assaulted by a dozen people with iron rods near a light rail station in the northeast of the capital on Friday night, according to an account given to the Association for Civil Rights in Israel.
The two, Amer Shuweki and Ahmed Kaswani, were seriously injured and taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in the capital for treatment.

Pictures posted to Facebook showed the two flat on the ground after the attack, their faces bloodied.
The assault came as violent riots by Palestinians near the capital and around the West bank left six protesters dead over the weekend.
Police said they opened an investigation into the incident.
According to the ACRI account, the two said their attackers came from the Jewish East Jerusalem neighborhood of Neve Yaakov, in the north of the city.
