The American rap star Kanye West has been finalizing plans for an October performance in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park, the daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Sunday.
West visited Israel with his wife, Armenian-American reality star Kim Kardashian, in April for the baptism of their daughter North at the Armenian Cathedral in Jerusalem’s Old City.
During that visit, West was rumored to be planning a free surprise concert at the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem, but although fans swarmed to the site, the concert was canceled.
Different reasons were cited for the cancellation, including technical problems and West’s fatigue after a long day of touring.
The couple also went out for dinner with Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and visited the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Kardashian announced that she was pregnant with a son in June, and she was reported to be due to give birth in December.
It was unclear if Kardashian will join West for his October trip.
In January, it was reported that Kim and sisters Khloe and Kourtney were considering buying two apartments in Tel Aviv valued at 120 million NIS ($30 million).
