Thailand’s deputy ambassador to Israel welcomes the release of 10 nationals from Gaza yesterday, but stresses that more are still held captive by Hamas.

“They’re all in good condition, they’re being treated,” he tells Ynet. “Once they are ready physically and mentally, we’ll bring them home.”

“We are anxiously awaiting the return of our other citizens,” he says. Thailand believes 20 more people are held hostage.

Those freed on Friday have been named as Natthawaree Moonkan, Santi Boonphrom, Boonthom Phankhong, Mongkhol Phajuabboon, Withoon Phumee, Wichai Kalapat, Bancha Kongmanee, Buddee Saengboon, Uthai Thunsri and Uthai Sangnuan.
