Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner dismissed from his post
Following the hitting of a protester, army chief relieves officer of his duties

Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz dismissed Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner from his duties as deputy commander of the Jordan Valley Brigade Wednesday, after the officer was filmed hitting a pro-Palestinian protester on Saturday.
Eisner will not be allowed to fill a command position for the next two years.
