Man dies after falling off cliff in northern Israel
First responders rescue his wife who was climbing with him; separately, man dies in zipline accident

A man died on Thursday while rock climbing in the Upper Galilee in northern Israel.
Sela Deutsch was climbing with his wife Shikma Nachman. She said that her husband grabbed hold of a large rock with two hands to pull himself up, but the rock fell from its place, and took him down with it.
Sela was hit by the half-ton rock as he fell, and thrown down by it, despite the safety ropes remaining intact.
The local climbing association described the freak accident as being “as rare as a lightning strike.”
Earlier Thursday, a 43-year-old man died after hitting his head on a rock while on a zipline near Mount Gilboa in northern Israel.
Police said they were opening an investigation into the circumstances of his death.
