Man kills one, injures two others, after they criticize him for reckless driving

Three men were shot, one fatally, in the Arab village of Tabash, in northern Israel, Saturday night.

Eyewitnesses told Army Radio that the men were shot after they got into an altercation with a motorist, criticizing him for driving recklessly around the village.

The offending driver reportedly left the area after a shouting match, only to return a few minutes later carrying a weapon and determined to punish those who had insulted his driving. He then opened fire on the three, wounding two severely and lightly injuring the third. One of the men later succumbed to his injuries.

The three casualties received first aid for their gunshot wounds from paramedics who arrived on the scene, and were then taken to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for further treatment.

Police have initiated a search for the suspect who fled the scene.

Walla News reported that a house belonging to relatives of the alleged assailant was fired on early Sunday morning, supposedly by family members of the man who was killed.
