Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher engaged
Jewish actress, who has said she can't wait to have Jewish babies with Kabbalah devotee, spotted sporting massive diamond ring
It only took 15 years, but Jackie and Kelso are getting married.
Ashton Kutcher, the former Mr. Demi Moore, asked his girlfriend Mila Kunis for her hand in marriage, and the Jewish Black Swan star agreed. She was spotted this weekend shopping in Hollywood with her mother, sporting a massive diamond rock on her finger. The duo met on the set of That 70s Show, where their characters — Jackie and Kelso — dated, flirted and wore a series of questionable outfits and hairdos.
The longtime friends didn’t start dating until 2012, however, after Kutcher had married and then split from actress Demi Moore. Hollywood insiders had been betting on a Kutcher-Kunis engagement ever since that divorce became finalized in late 2013.
Kunis was born to a Jewish family in Ukraine and moved to the US when she was 7 years old. She has spoken openly of her Jewish faith and even her desire to have “Jewish babies” with Kutcher. And while Kutcher hasn’t yet officially converted, he is an avid devotee of Kabbalah, which he began studying while married to Moore.
Kunis and Kutcher traveled together to Israel several times to visit the Kabbalah Center in Safed, and in September 2013 tabloid photographs showed Kunis consoling Kutcher at the funeral of Kabbalah chief rabbi Philip Berg, who was buried in the mystical city.
