Israeli hospitals treat three more injured Syrians
Over 300 people, hurt in fighting across the border, have been treated in Israel since Syria war began
Two Syrian men and one teenager were rushed to Israeli hospitals Friday, after sustaining injuries from fighting between President Bashar Assad’s forces and rebels.
The two men were treated at the Western Galilee hospital in the northern Israeli city of Nahariya.
The two required emergency care, with one man suffering from serious injuries and the second in moderate condition, according to Israel Radio.
A 17-year-old boy was rushed to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed. He suffered from gunshot wounds, as well as a fractured hip.
It was not immediately clear how the three Syrians were injured or whether they had themselves taken part in the fighting.
Since the outbreak of the Syrian conflict in March 2011, over 300 Syrians have been treated in hospitals throughout Israel, with 13 of them currently hospitalized in the Nahariya hospital.
The IDF has also set up a field hospital in the Golan Heights to treat some, less serious injuries.
