No more room on the fridge: Young artists show their work

Jerusalem's AACI hosts exhibit of art and writing projects made by kids and teens

Kids, more than adults, are often encouraged to explore their artistic side and the results can be inspiring.

“With Brush and Pen” is an exhibit of children and teen art currently on display at Jerusalem’s Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel.

It shows off the results of creative art and writing projects of young Israelis ages 7 to 18, from throughout Israel, across all kinds of communities.

This is the seventh year that AACI has organized the art show supported by the Betsy Sugarman Memorial Fun.

The only criteria for participation are the talent and creativity of the young artists and writers, supported and encouraged by parents and teachers.

Entries in the exhibit will be on display through April 26, and available for viewing Sunday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at AACI, 37 Pierre Koenig Street, Jerusalem. Entry is free.
