Palestinian killed in West Bank pile up
Fatal collision occurred in early morning on Route 55 in West Bank; five evacuated to hospital with injuries

A Palestinian man died Monday morning in a car accident in the West Bank, caused when two vehicles collided.
The accident took place on Route 55, which runs from Kfar Saba to Nablus, close to the Palestinian village of Azzun, Channel 10 reported.
First responders from Magen David Adom tried unsuccessfully to revive the man at the scene, but were eventually forced to pronounce him dead, according to Channel 10.
At least five other people were reportedly injured in the collision, and were taken to hospital by the Red Crescent ambulance service.
At least one of the injured is in critical condition, according to Israel Radio.
