Palestinian shot after trying to grab soldier’s weapon

Suspect taken to hospital for treatment, two soldiers lightly injured in incident

A Palestinian was shot in the leg early Thursday morning after he attempted to wrest a rifle from IDF soldiers who sought to arrest him in Hebron.

The Palestinian, described as a young man, resisted arrest and threw multiple objects at the soldiers, two of whom were lightly wounded. He then attempted to take a weapon, but was shot. He suffered a light injury and was hospitalized for treatment.

The incident occurred during a coordinated overnight raid by security forces, which netted 12 suspects wanted for questioning across the West Bank, Walla reported.
