A Palestinian teenager shot by Israeli troops in the West Bank last month for throwing firebombs died of his wounds on Monday, the Palestinian health ministry said.
The incident on March 23 saw Israeli troops shoot dead a Palestinian teenager and seriously wound three more Palestinians, including the 17-year-old confirmed dead on Monday.
According to the army, soldiers opened fire on the group after they exited a car and began hurling Molotov cocktails at the settlement of Eli, near Ramallah.
“Hits were confirmed. The vehicle then fled the scene,” the IDF said in a statement.
The fatality last month was identified as Mohammed Mahmoud Ibrahim Hattab, 17. A picture of Hattab holding what appeared to be an assault rifle appeared on social media.
