Palestinians say 19-year-old badly hurt at protest
Youth said to have sustained serious injury after an IDF tear gas grenade hit his head

A 19-year-old Palestinian was seriously injured in the head by an IDF tear gas grenade, Palestinian sources claimed Friday. There was no confirmation from the Israeli army.
According to the sources, the youth was taking part in a demonstration in Kfar Qadum, near Nablus. During the demonstration, the IDF used crowd dispersal measures, hitting the youth in the head with a tear gas grenade.
The youth was reportedly evacuated to a Nablus hospital, where he was diagnosed with a skull fracture and internal bleeding, requiring emergency surgery.
The IDF did not confirm reports of the injury. It said some 150 Palestinians had participated in the demonstration, but that nobody had been hit in the head.
