Passenger dies on El Al flight to New York

An American woman died of unknown causes while en route from Israel to New York on an El Al flight on Tuesday morning.

Ynet News reported that the elderly passenger died on the plane while staff and passengers attempted to administer first aid.

“Unfortunately, the efforts of doctors to save her failed,” said El Al in a statement. “Company representatives have contacted the family and they are waiting at the airport in New York.”
