Plenty of buzz over possible Beyoncé concert in October
Not just one performance either, but two shows could be planned for the diva's first visit to Israel
Rumor has it that the reining queen of pop Beyoncé is about to confirm an October 26 concert in Israel — and possibly a second performance too — in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park.
According to industry sources, the rumours are serious, with the concerts possibly being produced by one of promoter Udi Appelboim’s partnerships.
It’s not the first time that local papers are talking about a Beyoncé concert, given the sizable audience the pop singer would presumably draw to the park, which is Tel Aviv’s largest venue and recently played host to Elton John.
Back in February, there were rumors about two Beyoncé shows this summer, as part of her “Formation” tour, but the concerts were never booked.
According to the Music News and Facts website, Beyoncé is the third highest grossing solo touring act in history with a total gross of $663 million.
If Beyoncé does show up in Israel, she can have two of her favorite clothing designers on hand to work on her outfits. The popular diva opened the “Formation” world tour in Houston, Texas, in a modular dress by designer Inbal Dror that morphs into a sexy bodysuit, a popular look for the curvaceous singer.
At the January Grammy Awards, she chose Dror’s Victorian-styled white and silver tulle gown, with thigh-high tulle cutouts on the skirt of the dress. Back in 2013, Beyonce wore Alon Livne’s lipstick-red Freakum dress for her world tour.
