Cancellation leads to scrapping of this week's Shaka Festival for hip hop in Rishon Lezion
American rappers Tyga and Fat Joe have canceled performances in Israel planned for later this week.
The two were set to headline the Shaka Festival for hip hop in Rishon Lezion on Thursday, but canceled at the last minute, citing security concerns. There were no further details.
Following the pullout, organizers of the festival announced that it would be canceled, and that ticket-buyers would receive full refunds.
Other acts which had been set to perform included Israeli artists Peled, Stefan, Futures Gang and Michael Suissa.
