American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers on Saturday canceled its planned 2023 performance in Israel, citing scheduling issues.
The show’s Israeli producers said that Ticketmaster would reimburse fans who had purchased tickets within 90 days.
“We greatly appreciate the understanding and patience of the best audience in the world and look forward to hosting the beloved band in the future in Israel,” they added.
The band had already postponed its planned appearance in the Jewish state twice — in 2020 and in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It last performed in Israel in 2012, when it played to a crowd of 50,000 in Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park.
