Jewish comedienne Sarah Silverman will visit Israel in December to attend a screening of her Emmy-winning TV show.

Silverman was invited as a guest to the 16th Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival (December 16-23), and will host a Q&A session after the viewing of her HBO comedy special “Sarah Silverman: We are Miracles.”

The Jewish star last visited the Holy Land in 2011 for the Israeli presidential conference, honoring then-president Shimon Peres.

Upon nabbing her Emmy for the show earlier this year, Silverman dashed up onto the stage barefoot and thanked her agents, saying, “Thank you to my Jews at CAA.”

Silverman, who has never shied away from flaunting her Jewish heritage, maintains strong ties to Israel. Her sister Rabbi Susan Silverman is a Reform rabbi and activist for Women of the Wall, and lives in Israel.
