Scorched body found next to northern kibbutz

A body was found in a field next to the northern kibbutz of Shomrat, Friday afternoon, after firefighters were called to the scene to battle a blaze.

Police have opened in investigation into the death, and say they have no details and do not even know the gender of the victim, according to Maariv.

Firefighters were called to the scene after kibbutz residents reported a fire in a grove of Eucalyptus trees.
