A settler on Sunday fired a gun into the air during a scuffle between Israelis and Palestinians near the West Bank village of Baytillu, northwest of Ramallah.

A group of Israelis from the neighboring Jewish settlement of Nahliel confronted a group of Baytillu residents who were harvesting olives on village property, Israel Radio reported. IDF soldiers arrived at the scene and separated the two groups.

Israeli security sources reported that one of the settlers fired a weapon into the air during the fight.

No injuries were reported.
