Dipping apples in honey on Rosh Hashanah can be a tricky, and often sticky, business. But students from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, decided to complicate things further in honor of the upcoming holiday.
Using an impressive-looking crossbow and helium baloons, Eyal and Noa, two mechanical engineering students at the prestigious institution, managed to shoot a slice of apple-in-honey into the hands of Professor Peretz Lavie, the Technion’s president.
Titled “Aiming Higher; A New Year’s Experiment,” the video certainly demonstrates a fun, high-tech way to dip one’s apple in honey. Still, we recommend that you not try this at home.
